Terms of Service

The service

Weekday Eats is a meal planning service that creates personalized dinner plans, shopping lists, and integrates with grocery delivery. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

License

Weekday Eats grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application on devices you own or control, subject to these terms. The app is licensed to you, not sold. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the application, except as permitted by applicable law.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per household is intended.

Subscription and billing

Weekday Eats offers a 7-day free trial followed by a monthly subscription at the current price displayed at the time of purchase (currently $12/month). Your subscription automatically renews each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime:

• On iOS: through your Apple ID subscription settings in the App Store
• On Android: through your Google Play subscription settings
• On the web: from your account settings page

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, Google Play account, or payment method on file at confirmation of purchase.

Content and nutrition

Nutritional information is estimated and should not be relied upon for medical or dietary decisions. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee allergen detection or cooking safety. Always use your own judgment when preparing food, especially regarding allergies and dietary restrictions.

Third-party services

The service may enable access to third-party services, including but not limited to Instacart for grocery delivery. These services are provided at your sole risk. Weekday Eats is not responsible for examining or evaluating the content, accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any third-party service. Grocery orders are fulfilled by Instacart. Weekday Eats is not responsible for order fulfillment, pricing, availability, or delivery. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that service's own terms and privacy policy.

Data collection

Weekday Eats may collect and use technical and usage data to provide and improve the service. This data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, or use the platform for purposes unrelated to meal planning.

No warranty

Weekday Eats is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Weekday Eats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Weekday Eats in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

Termination

This agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights under these terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of the terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the application. Weekday Eats may also terminate or suspend your account at any time for any reason.

Export compliance

You may not use or export the application except as authorized by Canadian law and the laws of the jurisdiction in which the application was obtained. You are responsible for compliance with any applicable local, national, or international export regulations.

Governing law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
